Jeff Nixon Photography
Little Sur River, Approaching Storm
Half Dome, Thunderstorm, from Glacier Point
These prints are produced from the original 4x5 or 8x10 film negatives, (usually Tri-X, processed in HC-110) onto a variety of silver gelatin papers, and Selenium toned. Mounting and over-matting utilize 4-ply archival Museum Board, finished and spotted by Jeff Nixon. The normal print sizes are available, from 8x10, to 11x14 or 16x20, and I've even been silly enough to make 30x40 prints!

Jeff Nixon is well known for his striking black and white photographs of YoSemite, Big Sur, the Monterey area, Death Valley, and a multitude of other locations, wherever his 4x5 cameras can be directed. Over the last few years, Jeff has also put his energies into digital work, finding new avenues for his 45+ years of experience. Trained by Ansel Adams, Morley Baer, and a host of contemporary photographers, Jeff's work is varied, but kept within the comfort of Old-School ethics.
